What we collect
When you create an account: an email address, a password, and a username we generate for you. When you make an animation: the text you write. When you use the contact form: the name, email address, and message you type. And on every request, like any website, your IP address is visible to us.
Why we collect it
The email identifies your account and lets you reset your password. The animation text exists so the link you share has something to show. What you send through the contact form is there so we can read it and write back. Your IP address is counted, never profiled: it is what stops one person from flooding the forms.
Who can see it
Your email address is never shown publicly, not even on a shared link — that page is served by a function that returns the message and the signature and nothing else. The text of an animation is visible to anyone holding its link, so treat the link as the private part. Messages from the contact form go to one personal inbox.
Keeping it
Your account and animations stay until you delete an animation or ask for the account to be removed; write to tanertalas.dev@gmail.com and it goes, along with every animation attached to it. The records used to count requests hold an IP address for about an hour and are then thrown away. A message you send through the contact form stays in the inbox it arrived in, like any other email.
Who else touches it
Four companies, each for one job. Supabase stores the database and runs sign-in. Vercel hosts the site and keeps short-lived request logs that include IP addresses. Cloudflare runs the "are you human" check that sits on every form here, and receives your IP address when it does. Google delivers our email, and if you sign in with Google it tells us your email address and nothing more.
What is not happening
No analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels. Nothing here is sold, rented, or handed to anyone beyond the four services above.
